02Lineage

The auditor walks the lineage back.

Evidence that holds up, drawn as a pipeline. Sources are ingested with their gaps recorded rather than smoothed over, indicators are computed under versioned methodology, and publication is immutable, so a reviewer can walk the lineage from the published number back to every source, long after the people who made it have moved on.
